Our Voting information site, Vote411, is being updated with the latest information for California Voters. Check back as the November 5, 2024 General Election nears for listings of when mail-in ballots will be sent out, Ballot Drop Box locations, how to track your ballot, Vote Center locations, and other important information.

In Los Angeles County Vote Centers are set up during elections. At these vote centers you can do everything related to voting—register, change registration, and vote. You can vote in person or drop off your mail-in ballot. Some Vote Centers are open for 10 days before the election, and some are only open for three days before. Check with the LA County Registrar of Voters to find your nearest Vote Center and the days and hours.

Our Vote Centers are equipped with voting machines that began use in 2018. They record your vote in two ways. There is a paper ballot for each voter so there is a paper trail. The vote machines are not online so they are not able to be hacked. They do record the votes electronically, and then the votes are recorded and sent to the County Registrar of Voters.

During the last election San Bernardino County was not using vote centers. Check with San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters for your precinct or ballot drop off site.
